Foreshore Precinct - Jetty
At the junction of Esplanade and High Street is the Foreshore Precinct. There you will be able to walk on the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere constructed in early 1880’s by Mr. J. Wishart originally 5,500 feet and extended in 1883; shortened by means of storm damage in 1953.
