Keep going down Rydberg Street and on the right is St. Clement’s the Anglican Church which was built between 1883 and 1885 and opened by Bishop Kenyon, Bishop of Adelaide, in 1885 the first Anglican priest in Port Germein was the Reverend J.H. Corvan. De-commissioned in 1981 now a private residence.
As with most of the historic buildings in Pt. Germein, Mr. Joseph Orchard carted, with his horse team, the stone from the quarry in the Germein Gorge for the building and also sawn timber was carted from the Wirrabara Forest through the Germein Gorge.
